    I'm aware that I need regular eye tests on hydroxychloroquine and my consultant did briefly mention it (very briefly! I rang up her secretary to ask which test I needed at the opticians and she said it was the same one as for glaucoma with the little puff of air but reading around on here that doesn't sound true...     Let me tell you what weaning down from Plaquenil is like. I think you can - I don't think what people are experiencing are withdrawal symptoms but their SjS symptoms flaring up without the Plaquenil. It's not the same as quitting an anti-depressant cold turkey where you do experience withdrawal.
